Surprise #2 of 2019


So I am at our Downtown Kaity's Way office, working away. I just finished up with an intern on a project and am starting to process some requests for presentations when I get a call on the Kaity's Way phone. I answer in my typical way, "Kaity's Way this is Bobbi, how can I help you?" The person on the other end asks me, "is this the Bobbi that wrote C is for Conquer?" I was taken back for a moment because I try really hard to keep Kaity's Way and my writing separate. After taking a second to collect my thoughts, I answered, "yes" and before I had a chance to ask her any questions she explained she was a publisher for a magazine and wanted to possibly do a story about "C is for Conquer." It was like two areas of my brain were in full function simultaneously. I am listening to her, but at the same time wondering, how does she know about my book, why did she call the Kaity's Way number, have I gone into a worm hole that took me to the Bobbi's life is Grand dimension. Needless to say, my head was swirling and the feeling was somewhat confusing but exciting also.

Once I was able to collect my thoughts, after hearing her out, I asked, "how did you hear about my book?" She said in a very matter of fact way, "I found it on Amazon." I was like what the heck, it is on Amazon! I grabbed my personal phone and went to my Amazon app, we subscribe to Prime, and did a search for the book and sure enough this is what I found   >>>>>>>>>>>>>

How cool is that!!!! 

After contacting Morgan James Publishing I found out that not only is it on Amazon it is on Indiebound.com and Books A Million for pre-order. This is so surreal for me and like Kaity's Way is taking on a life of its own. My role is to make sure it stays the course and finds its way into the hands of many. This may sound out there, but I hoping the genuine message of hope and determination puts it on a best sellers list somewhere. Simply so anyone having a rough go at it can be inspired to fight the good fight and never ever give up on yourself.

We are all amazing and have a purpose in life. I believe in one way or another the basis of our purpose as human beings is to help and support each other. To be encouraging when someone needs a lift up. To be empowering when someone needs to realize their strengths. To share knowledge so others may benefit from it. Pay it forward just because it is the right thing to do. Just look at each day as an opportunity to love and appreciate whatever you choose to. Until my next blog..... Take Care of yourself!

No: Can be very uncomfortable for some

Click here for Audio No , probably one of the most universal words that has the same meaning in most languages. Yet, for some it is a very uncomfortable word to say. Then there are those that don't accept no as an answer very well. This was addressed in a former blog I put out in October, " No: Can you handle it ." So, we will address those that don't like to say No.  Being comfortable with declining or saying No is an important step in maturing and taking care of ourselves. The inability to decline or say No, could be devastating for a child. I am thinking this societal conditioning is one of the reasons we have children being violated and abused.  We are all born with the ability to sense energy or vibes. Children and animals are seriously tuned into this, but societal conditioning has made those children doubt themselves as they get older. Everyone is capable of Super Powers!
